Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse this site and buy from it, including people who use a screen reader, who navigate with the keyboard only or who need larger text.

The standard we follow

We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, the technical reference of the European standard EN 301 549 and of the European Accessibility Act (Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022).

Where we are

The site is partially compliant: most of the requirements are met, some are not yet.

What already works:

every page can be used with the keyboard alone, and the position of the focus is always visible;
the pages can be enlarged up to 200% and read on a small screen without scrolling sideways;
the slideshows that move by themselves can be paused, and they do not start for those who asked their device to reduce motion;
the form fields have a label, and the buttons a name that a screen reader can read;
the photographs that carry information have a description; the decorative ones are skipped by screen readers.

What does not work yet:

the payment pages of the bank and the anti-spam check are provided by third parties, and we cannot change them;
the pages of the personal account and the checkout have not been fully checked yet.

How we checked

This statement comes from a check carried out by us, with an automatic analysis tool and with keyboard, zoom and small-screen tests on the main pages of the site. It has not been certified by an external body.
