Terms and conditions of sale

The rules of the purchases made on this website. Please read them before you order: by placing an order you accept them.

2. Who can buy

These conditions apply to consumers, that is people aged 18 or over who buy for purposes outside their business or profession (Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005).

Shops and companies that buy for resale can ask for the dedicated price list from their account: the consumer rights described here (withdrawal, legal guarantee) do not apply to them.

To order you need an account: registration is free.

3. Products

Our products are handmade food: photos show them as faithfully as possible, but shape, decoration and packaging can vary slightly.

Ingredients, allergens, weight and storage instructions are on the page of each product: read them before you buy. Allergens are written in CAPITAL letters in the list of ingredients.

If a product you ordered turns out to be unavailable we tell you right away and refund what you paid for it.

4. Prices

Prices are in euro and include VAT. Delivery costs are not included in the product price: you see them in the cart, before you pay.

The price that counts is the one shown when you send the order.

5. How you order and when the contract is concluded

1. You put the products in the cart.
2. You choose delivery or pickup and enter the address.
3. If the order is shipped to you, you enter the details for the invoice.
4. You check the summary with products, delivery cost and total: up to here you can go back and correct anything.
5. You choose how to pay and confirm: from that moment the order carries the obligation to pay.

We send you right away an email that confirms the order with its summary: the contract is concluded when you receive it. The order stays available in your account, under "My account".

The contract can be concluded in Italian or in English.

We can refuse or cancel an order, refunding it in full, when the details given are false or incomplete or in case of an obvious error in the price.

6. Payment

You can pay with the methods shown at checkout, at present:

• Wire Transfer
• PayPal

Card and PayPal payments run on the secure systems of the payment provider: we never see or store your card data.

With a bank transfer the order is prepared when the amount reaches our account; if it does not arrive within 5 working days the order is cancelled.

7. Delivery

We deliver in Italy and abroad. The ways of receiving your order available at present are:

• Corriere espresso
• Ritiro in negozio

The cost of each one is shown in the cart before you pay.

Deliveries outside Italy are quoted case by case: when you enter a delivery address abroad, your cart becomes a request for a quotation, which we send you within 48 hours with the shipping cost and which you can confirm from your account.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes are charged to the recipient: they are not included in our prices.

We hand the parcel to the courier within 2 working days from the order (from the arrival of the amount, for bank transfers) and in any case we deliver within 30 days.

When the parcel arrives, check that it is intact: if it is damaged, accept it "with reserve" writing it on the courier's document, and tell us within 48 hours with a photo.

If nobody is at the address, the courier follows its redelivery rules. If the parcel comes back to us because it could not be delivered, we contact you to agree a new delivery.

8. Pickup in our shops

With pickup in the shop there are no delivery costs: we write to you when the order is ready, and you collect it in the shop you chose during its opening hours.

9. Right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the products, without giving any reason. For some products, such as fresh or personalised ones, the law excludes it.

10. Legal guarantee

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles 128 and following of the Consumer Code): we answer for defects that exist at delivery and show up within 2 years, compatibly with the nature of food and with its expiry date, provided the storage instructions on the label were followed.

If a product arrives damaged, different from what you ordered or not good, write to us with the order number and a photo: we replace it or refund it at our expense.

11. Invoice

Every order we ship is invoiced. The invoice is made out to you or to the company you indicate at checkout and is sent through the e-invoicing system (SDI): you also find it in your account.

For an order you collect in one of our shops you receive the receipt in the shop, and the invoice details are not asked.

12. Loyalty Card

If you have the Bardini Loyalty Card you collect points also on online purchases, as described in the card rules.

13. Complaints and disputes

For any complaint write to us at the addresses in point 1: we answer as soon as we can.

These conditions are governed by Italian law. For any dispute the competent court is that of the place where the consumer lives or has elected domicile, if in Italy.

You can also turn to one of the bodies for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes (ADR, articles 141 and following of the Consumer Code). The European online dispute resolution platform (ODR) was closed on 20 July 2025.

14. Personal data

We handle your data as described in the privacy notice and in the cookie policy.

15. Changes

We can update these conditions: the new version applies only to the orders sent after its publication.
